Meet the Owner!
My name is Gary Montgomery. I am the owner of Foothills Stump Grinding and Tree Service. I was born and raised in the Bonney Lake area and have raised two beautiful daughters in this area as well! I have seen many changes in the Pacific Northwest over all the years. I remember when Bonney Lake's population was 305 and now we are at more than 20,000! As the area has changed, the landscape needed to change with it, which is when I decided to help out. After 35 years of being in the tree service industry, I have gained the skills and knowledge you need to work with all sorts of projects! I am looking forward to meeting you and getting you a free estimate!

As with any big decision in life, I turned to my beliefs to guide me in my decisions. I wasn't the happiest with what I was doing in my life and that is what brought me to this profession. It started with buying a magazine and buying the equipment. Next thing you know, I was on my way to working with 15 different tree service businesses in the area. By word of mouth, I grew fast and grew a community of connections. I was one of the first people in our area to have major commercial equipment and that's what really began the strong foundation of Foothills Stump Grinding & Tree Service.
Honesty, integrity, community, and knowledge were the key elements to what evolved into the successful business that we are today. Not many people out there will guarantee their work and leave you with a job well done however, that is what Foothills Stump Grinding & Tree Service is built on.
